Another MEF Carrier Ethernet CECP in Amartus
Amartus, a leading supplier of software expert services mainly for the telecom industry, today announced that Technical Architect, Bartosz Michalik, PhD., has become a Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional (CECP), helping Amartus to expand its MEF expertise.
The MEF-CECP is the industry’s first vendor-neutral certification program and demonstrates that the professionals who have passed this rigorous certification have acquired the key competency and skills to design, market, deploy and support Carrier Ethernet equipment, networks, and services that represent the next generation of telecommunications technology.
“As we continue to deploy more MEF-related projects, staying current with these certifications is important to the success of Amartus and our customers,” said Marcin Paszkiewicz, Amartus CEO. “We are pleased that Bartosz has achieved this certification as it reinforces our strong participation with, and commitment to, the MEF.”
Michalik will also attend the MEF’s 2Q 2016 Members Meeting, happening April 25-28, 2016, in Rome, Italy.
Michalik will take part in the Euro16 LSO Hackathon, collocated with members meeting. This will be Michalik’s second MEF hackathon, after he worked to develop lifecycle service orchestration (LSO) solutions during the MEF15 event.
The Euro16 LSO Hackathon will focus on coding of LSO Presto (a network resource provisioning API) and LSO Sonata (an ordering and serviceability API).
