MEF & TM Forum Unite in Efforts for Seamless Inter-Provider Service Automation
Exciting news for Service Providers! On October 7th, MEF Forum and TM Forum announced their collaboration on Open APIs for Service Automation. It means that as of now, with the help of Amartus, Orange, Lumen Technologies, Cisco, Netcracker Technology, and Spirent Communications, MEF’s LSO Sonata APIs will align with TM Forum standards.
This new alignment is a major step forward towards achieving a truly global ecosystem of inter-operable Service Providers who wish to trade a broad range of network, cloud & application services in near real-time.
“We’re honored to have worked alongside fellow experts from other MEF & TM Forum member companies to make this a reality,” said Michael Kearns, Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Amartus “This ground-breaking effort means Providers no longer need to choose one standard over the other, they achieve both MEF and TM Forum compliance with a single set of APIs.”
