The project is a part of MEF’s OpenCS ecosystem that develops and tests reference designs of MEF-defined L2-L7 services (e.g. E-Line) using combinations of Open and Closed Source software, Open Spec and commercial hardware (e.g. CE 2.0-certified devices), SDN, and NFV.
Liam brings more than 20 years of experience in the communications software industry, having held senior commercial and technical roles for Ericsson, in Ireland, across Europe, Latin America and the Far East. He has managed large sales and cutting edge technology teams to leading communication service providers such as Telefonica and Digicel.
At the show, the Amartus team will be available to discuss software challenges faced by communication services providers, network equipment manufacturers and solution providers as they respond to changes in carrier Ethernet networks, or adopt software defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) technologies.
Amartus is proud to announce that one of our Software Design Engineers, Krzysztof Bijakowski, has been awarded the ONF SDN certificate. This brand new certificate issued by the Open Networking Foundation provides a strong foundation of vendor-neutral SDN knowledge and skills validation for engineering professionals.
The MEF’s Professional Certification program identifies the industry’s leading professionals and showcases expertise and excellence in technological knowledge and understanding of Carrier Ethernet service specifications and definitions. Bartosz joins other Amartus’ colleagues who have already earned the certificate.
To help increase the number of SDN solutions on the market, MEF has started a series of LSO hackathons. Hear Bartosz Michalik talk about the experience in his blog for SDxCentral.
