Amartus and EXFO announced their collaboration on a joint proof of concept “On-Demand Dynamic Bandwidth Scaling via LSO-compliant Platform and Continuous Performance Monitoring with NFV.” It will be on display at the MEF17 show in Orlando, FL.
Cloudify is an open source application and network orchestration framework based on TOSCA.
The solution is used by telecoms, internet service providers, financial services firms and others for NFV operations and cloud management & orchestration to help them get apps and network services to their end users faster than anything else, without getting locked in to any single technology or vendor.
Today’s IT environments are heterogeneous, fragmented and complex to manage and Cloudify helps companies automate the lifecycle processes of applications and network functions and run them at peak performance, no matter how complex their cloud networks are.
Amartus’ engineers support the Cloudify team in the design and development of the platform.
OpenLSO and OpenCS are two ORI activities that are starting to bear fruit. Speaking to his peers at the SDN NFV World Congress, Amartus’ Bartosz Michalik will talk about his experience as a leader of an OpenCS project and one of LSO Hackathon projects. A key part of that presentation will be a discussion of the OpenLSO and OpenCS projects currently in progress at MEF that are fulfilling MEF’s Third Network vision.
MEF today announced the first release of the Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO) Presto SDK set of tools that will significantly impact how carrier networks can be automated. Amartus’ key role in the development of the software also was acknowledged by MEF.
Amartus will bring its Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO) expertise to the MEF Quarterly Member Meeting, taking place in Frankfurt, Germany on April 24-27, 2017.
The company will also exhibit its premium cloud and network management and orchestration software services at the Layer 123’s NFV World Congress in May.
